Diane (Lenke) Kusic started off rescuing cats back in 2002. She started fixing her parents cats when she moved back home. She took in her first FeLV cat in 2008. This is her passion and she believes the silent majority of our world needs a voice and believes that standing up for the animals is her calling. Along with her husband Rodney and some very special volunteers, they have built the rescue into what it is today.

 

Rodney Kusic has been rescuing animals since he was a child. He has worked with many organizations such as Natures Nursery, Paws and Whiskers, Project Felix and many different Humane Societies throughout the Ohio and Michigan area. Because of his deep love and passion for animals, he has studied a variety of healing modalities such as Homeopathy, Iridology, Herbs, and Reiki. In May of 2012 he completed his degree in Naturopathic Medicine.
